The Lucrezia sofas by Maxalto, returned in 2021 in the Lucrezia Soft version, represent a collection that aims to combine comfort, distinct in the soft geometries that characterize the seats, with a refined aesthetic, embellished by sartorial details typical of the Maxalto tradition.
The collection was conceived by the well-known designer Antonio Citterio, who wanted to develop a series of modular sofas to allow the customer to configure tailor-made solutions according to the available space and the style of the environment in which the seats are inserted.
Lucrezia and Lucrezia Soft in fact give the possibility to play with seats of different depths, different coverings, linear solutions or chaise longues according to one's needs. However, whatever option you choose, Maxalto is once again synonymous with comfort and the quality of the used materials.
THE INSPIRATION OF THE MAXALTO LUCREZIA SOFA
The idea that guided Antonio Citterio in the development of the Lucrezia sofa collection, and the subsequent reinterpretation of Lucrezia Soft, is as simple as it is effective: starting from a clean design, the designer wanted to put comfort and functionality first, without however renouncing to that touch of sophistication given by high quality craftsmanship and sophisticated "haute couture" details, in line with Maxalto's philosophy, always oriented towards excellence.
The result leads to a series of sofas that from the very first glance allows you to admire their soft geometries and the quality of the materials that compose it. The wide range of proposals that make up the collection does the rest, leaving the customer free to imagine and configure the most suitable solution for their home environment.
FEATURES AND FINISHES
The Lucrezia Soft series by Maxalto consists of linear and modular sofas available in two depths and two sizes, but each of these elements can be further realized in two different versions: the first, more linear, is characterized by the seat cushion with band and , while those who love the presence of clearly visible sartorial details will inevitably be attracted by the second version, which features a seat cushion embellished with capitonné stitching.
In both cases, it is possible to choose between two different types of back cushions: the first option provides for a more compact version, which offers greater support to the seat through an integrated lumbar support, while the second is designed to be able to indulge in relaxation and softness of feather pillows.
Crucial to creating an environment that is as coherent and harmonious as possible is also the choice of upholstery for the Lucrezia sofas by Maxalto, available in fabric or leather: both solutions are characterized by high-fashion details, such as the eco-leather profiles for the variants in fabric, or the refined “profile” stitching for the leather ones.
