Boffi’s K series represents an innovative compact kitchen solution based on the “cube-kitchen” concept from German designer Norbert Wangen, who has dedicated his life to perfecting it.
BOFFI K2 K3 K4 Kitchen: Technical Features and Materials
Models K2, K3 and K4, are monolithic “cube-kitchens” in which all the elements needed for cooking are enclosed in an island block protected by a sliding top and differ in size.
The sliding top of the K2, K3 and K4 kitchens moves along the side of the monoblock through a technologically innovative movement, creating environments with a strong scenic impact.
When the kitchen is closed, the slide-out top hides the cooktop and sink, but when it is open, it takes on the function of a snack top. In addition, the bases of the K2, K3, and K4 kitchens can hold the oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher or serve as storage for other items.
The K2, K3 and K4 models follow the original design scheme, but with different dimensions:
- K2 is the largest model, 324 cm long closed and 353 cm long open,
- K3 is intermediate in size, with 200 cm closed and 289.5 cm open,
- K4 is the most compact, at only 159 cm closed and 248 cm open.
Despite its small size, it can hold a cooktop, a solid stainless steel sink, compartments for a refrigerator and dishwasher, and an under-sink drawer.
