BOFFI Kitchen Case 5.0: What’s New
The new CASE 5.0 – BECOMING system, unveiled in 2022, raised the bar even higher, harmoniously integrating functionality and aesthetics.
For example, glass doors with a folding effect create a striking visual experience, as well as offering highly efficient utility. With four shades of reflective glass and a new spatulate resin that can be applied in different color variations, the design becomes even more personalized and original.
The new sliding peninsulas are designed to create practical cantilevered areas for food preparation and service. Due to their versatility, sliding peninsulas allow for unique and innovative customization of the kitchen space, giving the ability to create functional areas where needed.
The Inside System Track is designed to provide compartments for cutlery and utensils, keeping everything handy and easily accessible. This system allows utensils and cutlery to be organized efficiently, optimizing space and ensuring maximum functionality at all times.
The design system saw the introduction of new materials such as MDi by Inalco, lost woods Indian rosewood, datuk ebony and teak, glossy polyesters and the exclusive Easy Metal finish. These materials were selected for their versatility, beauty, and ability to fit perfectly with the overall design of Case 5.0.
BOFFI kitchen Case 5.0: Designer
Designer Piero Lissoni was the creator of Boffi’s original Case 5.0 system, and his design philosophy is based on the idea of creating products that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing, without ever neglecting the importance of details.
Lissoni has a predilection for natural materials such as wood and stone, but he does not disdain the use of technological and innovative materials.
Its minimalist and refined style is reflected in the design of the Case 5.0 system, which is distinguished by its essentiality and formal cleanliness. With the new Case 5.0 – BECOMING system, Lissoni has maintained his focus on functionality, but has added greater customization and attention to detail.
