A treasure to discover among the many in Milan, is the Design Museum with its story of excellence.
The project was born in Ravenna by Raffaello Biagetti, was as ambitious as to be defined like "a romantic and utopian installation", today is a heritage of unique pieces of design, one of the most important collections of all Europe.
Here you can retrace the evolution of design in the arch of a century: from 1880-1980, coming into direct contact with the art works that made history and have helped to change the path of this discipline, from Gardella to Mendini, from Ponti to Gae Aulenti.
The space is organized in chronological islands according to the historic period: it starts from Art Nouveau and continues with the Artistic Avant-garde, Organic Design, Made in America and Made in Italy of course.
Needless to say that some of the great protagonists in display here, are included in the Sag'80 Catalogue because our mission is to represent the best tradition of timeless work, together with the top innovation of today.
