Made in Italy. It was founded in 1925 by brothers Giulio and Stefano Porro, who made furniture for Milan’s upper middle class in their factory in Carimate (Como). Porro’s history evolves as it chooses to collaborate with Italian and foreign designers, which also leads it to establish itself in the international market while maintaining as its strong point certain cornerstones of local craftsmanship such as carving, curved wood, and the juxtaposition of laths.
