Designercarpets Drechsle stands for high-quality handmade carpets. Working closely with international creatives, the family-owned company produces modern carpets and kilims for hotels and restaurants, stores, public buildings, yachts and the private sector with great passion and precision craftsmanship. The main production site is the Nepalese capital Kathmandu. Here carpets are produced with the highest quality and using traditional Tibetan manufacturing techniques. All factories are family-owned businesses that work according to socially responsible standards, certified by the Swiss step label. The Lörrach-based company holds the official license for timeless carpets designed by famous designers, including Danish architect and designer Verner Panton, Bauhaus student and photographer Gertrud Arndt, and artist Carmen Stallbaumer.
